Date of Passing: Jun 12, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWAYNE LEESON April 23, 1944 - June 12, 2015 Suddenly, after a lengthy struggle with diabetes, it is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wayne Leeson, at the age of 71 years, on Friday, June 12, 2015 in his home, with his wife by his side. Our Dad was a hard worker, never once complained and always had a smile on his face. Wayne will be forever missed by his loving wife Gwen of 50 years; four children, Randall (Tracey), Lance, Cindy (David) and Richard (Kim); as well as ten precious grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Eugene and sister Donna Pochinko. Wayne will be remembered and missed by numerous family and friends. A memorial service in memory of Wayne will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Abundant Life Lutheran Church, 3486 Raleigh Street, East St. Paul, Manitoba (one half kilometer north of Hoddinott Road), with Pastor Annemarie MacIntosh, presider. A private interment will be held at a later date. Our thanks to the Winnipeg fire and paramedics service for their compassionate care of our Mom during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6 or a charity of your choice.
