She will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends that extended worldwide through her many travels, but especially Winnipeg, Lake of the Woods, and Las Cruces, NM. An extremely talented artist she produced many fine paintings that are on display with family and very much treasured. Maggie lit up her homes with lively conversation, enjoyment of music, and great French bread. Her guests were always made to feel very much at home. The last of her family, we will remember her for her strong independent spirit, love of life, and devotion to family. We celebrate her life. She lived it her way. A private family service will take place at a later date. It was her art that attracted me to Marguerite - her art and the aura she was surrounded by, of a kind of worldliness I aspired to. She was UBER talented! I feel bereft that she has gone without a farewell. She will always be just over there where the sun sets, cooking in the lovely lake kitchen and charming everyone with her soft voice. The Gaspard dinners are an event of the past and may never be equalled for traditional erudite conversations and interesting guests. Sorry to hear of her passing, Gail and Gordie - Posted by: Gordon and Gail Konantz (Friends from the lake) on: Jun 26, 2015
