SYD LENTLE April 19, 1924 - June 20, 2015 Beloved husband to and lifelong friend of Edna and loving father to Darlene, Sherry-Ann (Linda) and Vicki (Pat). Surrounded by his loved ones, Syd peacefully passed away at Riverview Health Centre on Saturday, June 20. A military man for 25 of his 91 years, family man and lover of animals and sports, Syd will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. We would like to thank the wonderful staff in the Palliative Care unit at Riverview Health Centre for the compassionate and dignified care he received. You are invited to help celebrate Syd's life on Thursday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or Riverview Palliative Care Unit.
