My deepest condolences to Bob's family. Bob was a fantastic coworker and person... he made my work days fantastic and always brought a smile to my face. I was sad when he decided to retire and leave us at LKQ. I hope Bob is at peace and his memory and smile will forever live on in my heart. - Posted by: Deanna (coworker) on: Jun 29, 2015

My sincerest condolences to Bob's family. Bob was my go to guy whenever I had need of a ferry flight pilot. I found him to be every bit a very competent professional pilot and gentleman. It seemed that there was nothing he couldn't fly. I like to think that he has another set of wings now. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Hartley Dueck (Friend and business associate. ) on: Jun 28, 2015

We became friends with Bob over 30 years ago. As a Pilot who loved to fly, he picked up and delivered aircraft for our Business and soon became a wonderful friend to our family as well. Bob was a gentle, kind and thoughtful spirit who will be sadly missed and thought of often. Our thoughts and prayers are with Alva, Jackie and his family. - Posted by: Cindy & Steve Assaly (Friends & collegues) on: Jun 27, 2015

I have very warm memories of Bob. He was a family friend and was always happy to talk to us on his visits to Hawkesbury. He had a very kind and gentle manner. We remember his love of sugar pie and his patience! He once drove my car from Thunder Bay to Ottawa on his own. My condolences to his family members (Jackie and Alva). May you find comfort in your memories. - Posted by: Melissa Assaly (Family Friend) on: Jun 24, 2015

My sincerest condolences to Bob's family. I have great memories of him as he spent a lot of time with my father Steve. He was always so soft spoke, gentle and kind. I remember my mom always made sure we had a fresh sugar pie ready for his arrival. He also used to bring me the tiny airplane snacks because he knew I loved them! What a guy. He will be missed. - Posted by: Rebecca Keyzer (Assaly) (Friend ) on: Jun 24, 2015
