(WILLY) It is with sadness that the family of Willy Sr. announces his passing on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 70. He was predeceased by his father Anton, his mother Margarete, and stepfather Freddie Tomas. Willy is survived by his loving wife Doreen, of almost 45 years, his children Cindy (Bruce) Harrison, Dean, Will Jr. (Debbie) and Cade (Lisa); grandchildren, Nicole, Courtney, Leanna, Shane, Brooklyn, Carmyn and Ashley and great-grandchildren, Zoey and Ozzi Lee. Also left to mourn his passing are his brothers, Michael (Anneliese) and family of Winnipeg and Udo and family in California; sister-in-law Brenda (Don) Gulchak and family, and special friends of the family, Helen Kauenhofen and her son Allen (Linda) and children AJ and Robyn. Willy was born in Worms-Herrnsheim, Germany on March 1, 1945. He moved to Winnipeg, MB at the age of 15 and became a Canadian Citizen. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Willy's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street with interment to follow. Time for us to part now, I won't say goodbye; Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky. Every waking moment and all your life through Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you. Met Anton at some of the weddings. He was a great guy and loved his family so much. Regrets I can't be at the funeral as I have the flu. Condolences to Doreen and family. Willy, I remember working at the International Inn with you, Doreen, my mom and numerous others. You always had a way of making us all laugh. You will be fondly remembered.
