EWALD BOESE Ewald was the first child of a family of five children born on October 20, 1925 in Pokoczewo, Russia to German descent parents the late Reinhold and Alma (nee Klang) Bose. Drafted by the German army, he was a prisoner-of-war in Italy. In 1947, he resettled in Germany, where he met a lovely fraulein. They married October 16, 1949 in Vorden, Germany. A daughter was born and two years later he took his family to Canada aboard the "Beaverbrae", residing in Winnipeg until his passing (three weeks after having an emergency operation) on July 1, 2015 at the age of 89. Ewald worked in the construction industry and also as a factory worker until retirement. Ewald was a jack of all trades. He was always willing to give a helping hand to others with whatever projects that they had. In 2009, he moved with his family to a brand new senior housing complex. I'm sure that he has left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Survived by his wife Olga and daughter Hiltrud. Predeceased by sister Agnes; brothers, Waldermar, Alwin and Asser. A very special thank you to Angie and Bill, Marilyn and Frank for their loving concern and never ending support. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477, Main Street with interment to follow. (May the dear Lord give you eternal rest) Möge der liebe Gott Ihnen die ewige Ruhe Glen Eden Funeral Home 204-338-7111
