Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBETH COOK Elizabeth Ellen Cook passed away on June 27, 2015. Born in Dugald, MB on May 28, 1927. Beth met Jack and married in 1950. Work took them to Barrie, ON for two years. When they returned, they settled back in Dugald, where she remained the rest of her days. With the exception of living in Beausejour and Oakbank, where she moved to be near Jack while he was in care at East Gate Lodge and then in Kin Place PCH. Beth graduated from Normal School and taught in Vivian, Millbrook, and South Plympton, MB. Later she worked for Birks and Investors Group. Beth was active in her community. She was involved with the Springfield Ag. Society, and the Dugald Fashion Review. She was always willing to bake pies and cook turkeys for the various community dinners. Beth loved to sew, quilt, and china paint and there are many recipients of her projects. Most of all Beth loved her flowers. She couldn't wait for local greenhouses to open in the spring to purchase more flowers than she had room for. Beth was predeceased by her husband Jack in 2005 and her sister Lola in 2015. Beth is survived by her sisters; Eleanor, Joanie, Doris, Gail, and Rosalie (Neil). Brothers Charlie, Murray (Tor), Jimmy, and Gary Gillespie. Sisters-in-law Anne, and Muggs, brother-in-law Ron. Also many nieces and nephews. At Beth's request there will be no funeral. Seasons Funeral Service, 204-444-5444 www.seasonsfunerals.ca

With Sympathy to Beth's Brother and Sisters, Nieces & Nephews. Beth will be remembered as having a smile and a great laugh with everyone that met her. She was surely the Lady, that kept the family and relatives in the know of the family's goings on. She will be missed, by many. - Posted by: Bob & Magart & Family (Cousins) on: Jul 05, 2015
