ELIZABETH (LESIA) HELEN MATKULIAK On Monday, June 29, 2015, at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Elizabeth passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Left to cherish Elizabeth's memory are her beloved family, brother Gerry (Marion); sister Lydia and families; sister-in-law Linda; as well as brother-in-law Ron. She was predeceased by her father, George Matkuliak; mother Jaroslawa Matkuliak (Bomba); brother Alec; and nephew Christopher. Though a quiet person, Elizabeth's thoughtfulness toward others spoke volumes. Elizabeth's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Eugene Maximiuk, presider. For those who wish, viewing will be held prior to the service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth's memory to the Lung Association of Manitoba, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6.
