RICHARD ALAN GMITEREK Richard Alan Gmiterek, 60, of Beausejour, MB passed away on June 26, 2015 at Selkirk General Hospital. Richard is survived by his loving wife Joyce of 33 years; mother-in-law Carol Witoski; sons Jordan (Shauna) and Brady; daughters Keri (Paul) and Kiley; brother Melvin (Linda); grandchildren Avery and Jaiden; as well as many extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents Anton and Nellie Gmiterek as well as his father-in-law Stan Witoski. Richard was a proud owner of Gmiterek Construction and built countless homes in the area. His passion for woodworking was an inspiration for many young carpenters who started their career under his knowledgeable guidance. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, road trips with his family, and sports. A private funeral and burial took place on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
