FRANCES LEWIS (nee KLOS) April 7, 1928 - July 3, 2015 We gathered together on July 3, 2015 to surround our mother and grandmother with love and to say goodbye to this amazing woman. Our lives have been touched by her love and dedication to our family and sense of humour. She has taught us so many lessons in life and we will be forever grateful for the years that we were able to share with her. We would like to sincerely thank the staff in the Emergency Room and on the 5th Floor Unit 7 of the Seven Oaks Hospital for the care and compassion they showed to our family and for taking such good care of our mother. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in memory of her beloved Sara. Mom, thanks for the memories... you'll be missed. I will always cherish the friendship Don and I had with your Mom and Dad. The crib games, poker games, playing cards, trips to Las Vegas, and the trips traveling to and from Arizona brought so many happy memories over the years. Your Mom's delicious cabbage rolls and perogies were always enjoyed by our family. Your mom was a loving, funny, and hard working woman. I will miss our crib games, the shared love/hate relationship with bingo, your quick wit, and your 'say it like it is' personality. I have so many funny memories to hold on to. I'm glad you got to meet Sophie and to see her turn a year old. Whenever I look down at my thumbs, I will always think of you. Rest in peace.
