MAUREEN PATRICIA (PAT) MILES Peacefully on July 3, 2015, Pat Miles passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 88 years. Pat was born on February 25, 1927 in Winnipeg to the late Alexander and Margaret Beaton. Pat was predeceased by her husband Donald George Miles, her son Glen Alexander Miles, and her brothers, Ernie and Bert (Joe) Beaton. Left to mourn her passing and lovingly remember her are her children Bob (Susan) and Kristen, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pat will also be missed by numerous extended family and friends. Pat lived in West Kildonan all her life and was a member of Kildonan United Church. She worked at the Greater Winnipeg Gas Company for many years until her retirement. Since retiring, Pat enjoyed time with the North Centennial Seniors Group. Pat also enjoyed spending many summers at Winnipeg Beach and Red Rock Lake, gardening, nature watching of all kinds, reading, and going on walks with her dogs. Most of all, Pat loved spending time with her family and her friends. Pat was a wonderful caring person and will be greatly missed. In keeping with Pat's wishes, a private family interment and remembrance has taken place.
