I had the privilege of working at MPC during the summer of 1995. I learned so much from 'Boomer' by just observing how he treated people, respected nature and served the community. I have always remembered him warmly and I've been so grateful for that life changing opportunity. My thoughts and prayers are with the Labun family and all who loved Albert. - Posted by: Nichole 'Banshee' Forbes () on: Jul 14, 2015

I met Albert as a young man in University, working summers at Manitoba Pioneer camp. I learned a great deal from him in so many ways, but I will always remember something I strive to emulate to this day. Albert always took a moment to think about what I said before he responded. Knowing that he took the time to consider my ideas, even when he disagreed, was encouraging and empowering. My thoughts and prayers are with Nettie and his family. - Posted by: David Badilotti (Friend) on: Jul 13, 2015
