MARIE LOUISE CECILE MARCHILDON June 20, 1923 - July 11, 2015 Peacefully, on July 11, our grandmother, auntie, cousin, and friend passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her mother Veleda Marie Lallier and father Louis Lamothe; husband Laurent; son Gilbert; brothers, Antonio, David, Joe, Laurent; sisters, Sr. Rosaria, and Bibiane Mousseau. She is survived by grandsons, Vincent and Daniel Marchildon; nieces and nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law. In earlier years, Louise worked at St. Boniface Hospital for 35 years in the Uniform Service Department. After retiring, she enjoyed travelling and spent her winters in Victoria, BC. Thank you to staff at 5 E, St. Boniface Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion provided during her short stay. The funeral service will be held at Precious Blood Church, 200 Kenny Street, Friday, July 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Hector Mousseau, Jules Tellier, Luke Dufault, Vincent and Daniel Marchildon, and Diane Ramsay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare.
