Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB, Harry Warwick, aged 87 years of Eriksdale, MB passed away. Harry was born in Winnipeg, MB on June 22, 1928. He is survived by his many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Henry James Warwick and Elma Warwick (Bohme). Harry began teaching at a very early age in several one room schools in the Lakeshore School Division and retired from the Eriksdale School in 1983 after 38 years of dedicated service. Harry loved sports. Every school he taught in had a baseball team and he coached and managed a senior men's team for many years. He was a great fan of the CFL and the Winnipeg Jets. He will be missed by all those he met along the way. A funeral service celebrating Harry's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2015 in the Eriksdale Recreation Centre with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Interment to follow in the Eriksdale Municipal Cemetery with a lunch to be held in the hall. Pallbearers will be Vern Falk, Steven Pagee, Keith Lundale, David Schultz, Kenny Sutherland and Craig Pottinger. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry's memory to a charity of one's choice. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the E.M. Rest in Peace Harry - A True Gentleman known by many people living in the region of the Lakeshore School Division, a friend to all and liked by everyone. In some families, Harry taught 3 generations.
