MARIELEE NAULT (nee SHERRARD) It is with heavy hearts that we say good-bye to wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, elder and friend, Marielee. Marielee was born February 17, 1944, to Evelyn and Edward Sherrard. She met her husband Elmer, of 50 years and moved to Woodridge where they raised their family. She leaves to mourn her passing, husband Elmer Nault, as well as four children: Terry Lynch, Troy Taillefer (Jenn), Tammy Nault, and Shawn Nault (Marcia). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren as well as many great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her sister Margaret (Peter) Watt and sister-in-law Irene Rockhill, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Terrance Sherrard, parents Evelyn and Edward Sherrard, sister Adrienne, and brother Jack. Marielee served as a Board of Director representing the Southeast Region for the Manitoba Metis Federation from 1994 until her retirement in 2014. She was very proud of her work on her Health portfolio. She also served on the R.C.M.P. Task Force and was involved with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Marielee and Elmer also fostered many children throughout the years, which brought them great happiness. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy. 52 West, Steinbach, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Marielee Nault Bursary C/O Louis Riel Institute, 103 -150 Henry Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 0J7, Office: 204-586-8474 Ext. 262. Mom my heart is broken and will be until I see u again up in heaven. You were the rock and happy person in all our lives. I guess u were so strong for so long u just couldn't do it anymore.
