MABELLE GWENDOLENE DENNISON June 11,1929 - July 23, 2015 Gwen passed away peacefully at the age of 86 at Victoria General Hospital on July 23, 2015. Gwen's strong faith and readiness to meet Jesus was a testament to all who knew her. Gwen was predeceased by her first husband, William (Bill) Maher in December, 1968 and her daughter, Shelley Ann Keena in April, 1983. Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life is her husband Clayton Dennison and her son Bradley Maher; her granddaughter Leanne Reimer (Marlin); grandson Sean Keena (Sasha) and her great-grandchildren Sarah Maher, Craig Keena, Sydni Reimer, Sawyer Keena and Scotlyn Keena. Also left to cherish her memory is Joanne Stimson who has always been like a daughter to Gwen and was the person who led Gwen to Christ. Gwen was born in Androssen, AB and then moved to Dauphin, MB and then to Winnipeg, MB where she resided until her passing. Gwen was a homemaker and enjoyed making her home beautiful and welcoming for her friends and family, who she loved spending time with. Gwen attended the Bethesda Church and cherished the fellowship with her church family and friends. Her love for and faith in Jesus was central in her life. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Four North Staff at Victoria Hospital for their compassion and care. Gwen's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home at 4000 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
