ERNIE LAKUSTA 1937 - 2015 It is with great sadness that the family of Ernie Lakusta announces his passing on July 24, 2015 after a battle with COPD at Seven Oaks Hospital. He is predeceased by his father George Lakusta, mother Annie Lakusta (Salamandyck), sister Lily and brother Alex. He will be remembered by his daughter Kellie Tanchak (Todd), son Terry Lakusta and daughter Jodie Lakusta. He leaves behind his brother Maurice Lakusta, former wife Patricia Lakusta (Chalmers), grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Ernie was born on February 27, 1937 in Vita, Manitoba. He was the youngest of the four children born to Annie (Salamandyck) and George Lakusta. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Cambridge Health Group Home and also the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the care that they provided Ernie.
