Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNENITA BIHASA ALMONTE 1929 - 2015 Nenita Bihasa Almonte was granted her angel wings on July 21, 2015. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Nenita had touched in some way throughout her very memorable life. Nenita was born August 21, 1929 in Baler, Aurora, Philippines, to her parents Antonio Bihasa and Felipa Catipon. She comes from a family of six. Her interests included family, sewing, watching TV, walking, making friends and travelling; she travelled till her last days. She was also an active member of the San Diego Seniors Association. Nenita is survived by her children Zeny (Conrad), Cesar (Lai), Elsie (Joseph), Yodee (Darwin), Mae (Mario), and Jond; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and relatives in the Philippines, U.S.A., Canada, and other parts of the world. She was predeceased by her husband Vicente Almonte Sr., her parents, her siblings and four children. Lamay will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford St. Interment and reception to follow at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
