Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE MAY JOHNSTON August 9, 1922 - August 4, 2015 Peacefully on August 4, 2015, Irene May Johnston passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Born in England, Mom came to Canada as a war bride in 1944. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Douglas in 1988 and her son Richard in 1973. Mom is survived by her children Derek (Suzanne), Peter (Shirley), Barry and daughter Susan (Rick). Nan will always have a special place in the hearts of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved them a lot and they in turn loved her! The family would like to thank the caregivers in the Dialysis Unit of the HSC, Misericordia Place and GA4 at HSC. Your kind compassionate care of our Mom was appreciate by all of us. Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Irene's Life will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined.
