JACQUELINE (JACKIE) JUDITH LAMY June 22, 1938 - August 2, 2015 Surrounded by her loving family, we are sad to announce the passing of Jackie at Seven Oaks Hospital on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Murray of 57 years; daughter, Pat (Bert); granddaughters Tara (Carlos) and Chelsea, brothers, Duane (Marilyn) and James (Marie); several Aunts and Uncles, as well as by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Adam and Annie Engel and brother, Adam Jr. Born in Rhein, SK, Jackie moved to Winnipeg in 1955. She loved her family time, especially with her grandchildren, and time spent with her parents on the family farm. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. The love for her family was unconditional. Jackie developed Kidney Disease in 2002 and through her determination and strict diet she was able to maintain a healthy life. In 2013 after major surgery she was required to start Dialysis treatments. Over the past week health issues prevented her from continuing with Dialysis. A celebration of Jackie's life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Carriage House, 535 Leila Avenue. The family would like to thank the Seven Oaks Dialysis Unit for the care and support shown to Jackie and Murray over the last two years. A special thank you to the nurses and staff on the 4th floor, unit 10. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Unit 1 452 Dovercourt Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4.
