HELEN RUTH (DADSWELL) ROUGEAU With family by her side, Helen passed away peacefully on July 26, 2015, at the age of 95 years. Helen was predeceased by Eddy, her loving husband of 43 years and her beloved granddaughter Kelly Silk. She will be truly missed by her children, Blaine (Sandy) and Noreen (Louie), grandchildren Kyle (Kristie), Ken Silk, great-grandchildren Benjamin and Rebecca Silk, Emma and Abby Rougeau and sister-in-law and dear friend Bea Wery. In her early years she enjoyed roller skating with friends and also competing. Her career for many years was with the Transcona/Springfield School Division Board Offices in the Payroll Department. A job she took great pride in. She was a long time involved member of St. George's Anglican Church and Rebekah Lodge. Support from both was greatly appreciated. Her greatest pleasures were times spent with family and friends at the cottage at Hillside Beach and weekly family dinners which also included the family pets she adored. Special thanks to her friends at East Park Lodge and Park Manor Personal Care Home for support and care. Mom you will be missed, always loved and never forgotten. A memorial service will be held on August 25, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. George's Anglican Church, 321 Pandora Avenue West, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2C 1M6. He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes and death shall be no more. Nor shall there be mourning or crying or pain any longer. Friends who wish may donate to St. George's Anglican Church or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3 or charity of choice.
