ANNE DAVIS April 11, 1931 August 7, 2015 On Friday, August 7, 2015 at the age of 84 years, we lost our most beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Anne Davis. Anne passed away peacefully at Tudor House with her loving husband Stan by her side. Our hearts ache as she leaves behind her loving husband Stan, children Darryl (Margaret), Dale (Lisa) and Darrin. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sisters, Mary, Helen, Marge, Agatha (Gord), Ruth and Susan. Brothers, Abe (Mary) and Ike (Pat). She was predeceased and now reunited with her only daughter Ruth. Also she was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Catherina, second Mother Margaretha. Her sister, Tina, Betty, Eva, Elizabeth. Her brothers Johann, Jacob, Bill, John J, Dave, Peter, Henry and Cornelius. Anne was born and raised along with 20 siblings in Winkler, MB area. Anne met the love of her life Stan at a dance where it bloomed into a loving relationship and marriage of over 61 years. Anne became a Foster Care Mother for many years raising four of her own children, Ruth, Darryl, Dale and Darrin. Later in life she became involved in Home Care and enjoyed many years in the field. Stan and Anne were Legion Members and enjoyed the company and visits with numerous friends and family at the Legion. Anne's love for her children was great and had many talents for sewing, knitting, gardening and canning. She was a true wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker throughout her life. Funeral services will be at MacKenzie's Funeral Home in Stonewall on Monday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Stonewall, MB.
