Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILE CHATELAIN The members of the Chatelain family wish to announce the passing of their precious wife and mother, Cécile of 87 years. She passed away peacefully at Foyer Valade (Actionmarguerite), August 7, 2015. Cécile Chatelain, nee Lafrenière, leaves to mourn her husband of 64 years, Placide, three daughters: Rachelle Berard (Mike), Suzanne Chatelain, Brigitte Regimbald (Serge); three sons: Denis (Elaine), Henri (Liz), Marc (Nancy). She also leaves 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. Viewing will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 13, followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 a.m., with Father Germain Kpakafi presiding at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens, 289 Dussault Ave., St. Boniface, MB. A special thank you to the staff of Foyer Valade for their loving care. Donations for masses or any other charity may be made to a missionary or charity of choice. I have a long connection with this family as I am friends with Marc and I've taught Suzanne and Brigitte's children. I also know Rachelle as my wife worked with her. I always loved going to MaTante Cecile and Mon Oncle Placid's house on Speers Road and Plague Albert to hang with my cousins when we were in town!
