Shirley worked with my Dad at CP Rail between 1972 and 1976. She quickly became an "auntie" figure to me and my yonger brother James and often spent Hallowe'en evening or Valentine's Day over at our house. On a trip to Barbados, Shirley bought us a steel drum, much to my parents' dismay! I thought of her (and that drum) on my first visit to Barbados this summer - not realizing that she'd recently passed. I can't remember a time before Shirley and am sorry that she is no longer with us. - Posted by: Andrew Dunsmore (friend) on: Sep 14, 2015
