SHIRLEY ELAINE LUSH Shirley passed away suddenly on August 8, 2015 at St. Boniface Hospital. She was born in Winnipeg the daughter of Arthur G. and Elizabeth M. Lush on April 26, 1924. Shirley is survived by her beloved sister Marjorie and was AUNT to her many nieces and nephews Shirley, Gail, Gordon, Linda and Eric and their families. She held her many friends in high esteem and cherished their long friendships For many years, Shirley was an active volunteer in the community - any spare time was spent on the golf course. She served on Volunteer Bureau, Junior League and United Way committees. As a long time member of St. Charles Country Club she served on the Board of Directors, was President of the Ladies' Section, Lady Captain, and was the Honorary Ambassador to the Royal Canadian Junior Girls Golf Championship in 2008. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, brother Garnet and favourite family members, Matthew and Donald Eckert. Cremation has taken place and, as she requested, no formal services will be held. Your favorite charity will appreciate any donation you may wish to make in Shirley's memory or to any Junior Golf Program. The family gratefully decline flowers.
