Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICHOLAS KOSWIN Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Nick Koswin of Winnipeg, Manitoba at St. Boniface Hospital, on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the age of 85 years. Left to forever cherish Nick's memory are his beloved wife of 61 years, Colleen Koswin; four children, Rick, Ken (Louise), Kim and Robin; grandchildren, Nolan, Tyler, Chelsey, Megan, Carly, Kirstyn, Nathan, Keenan, Morgan and Jocelyn. He is also survived by brothers; sisters; nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his grandson, Garett. On December 7, 1930 Dad was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. He worked at Bristol Aerospace for many years. The Teulon Golf Club became his second home. Dad was one of the first chartered members at Teulon where he continued to golf for the next 40 years. He eventually became the marshal and golfed up until the last couple of years before failing health forced Dad to give up the game he loved so much. In compliance with Nick's wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. A special thank you to all of the staff who cared for Dad at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, 5th floor, unit 2, and the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care for their wonderful care and support. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care, http://www.chpca.net/donate.aspx.
