JOAN C. LARSEN (nee WILSON) 1943 - 2015 Peacefully on August 22, 2015, at Stonewall District Health Centre, Joan Larsen passed away at the age of 72 with family and friends by her side. She was predeceased by her mother Carrie Wilson, and sister Judy. She will be lovingly remembered by son Brent; daughters Brenda, Debra, and Jeannette; grandchildren, and many friends. Joan was a feisty, vivacious lady that fought with a lot of courage until the end. She will be remembered best for her enjoyment of having a visit over a cup of tea. She enjoyed decorating for most all occasions, and had a special love for gardening, butterflies, and angels. Memorial service will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make a donation to the Children's Wish Foundation. Dear Jeannette and family, l am so sorry to have heard of your mom Joan passing away. l remember all the great times I had at the house,when we were Teenagers. Remember Jeannette, Your mom was so funny, we had So many laughs. Your mom would order Chinese food. Those Were really the best times of my teenage years.
