Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEVERLEY ROBERTSON It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, and daughter, Bev, at the Grace Hospital on August 23, 2015 at the age of 63. Loving wife of George and mother to son Jayson and daughter Jessica (Matthew), Bev also leaves to mourn mother Joyce, brother Gord (Lorraine), sisters Deb (Bruce) and Shirlie, brothers-in-law Jim (Emily) and Dave (Barb), sisters-in-law Joan (Ray), Joanne, Irene, and Debbie and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Ed, and brothers-in-law Bill and Curly. Bev was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she later married and raised her own family. She attended St. James Collegiate and graduated from the University of Winnipeg in 1974. After marrying George and having two children, Bev was committed to her family and dedicated to volunteer work at her kids' school, where she developed a lasting network of friends. Bev loved spending time with friends and family, baking, playing games, laughing and, above all, talking. She was an animal lover with a nurturing heart and a constant confidant to those who knew her. She will be missed beyond belief. There will be a service held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society or any animal shelter of your choice. She is gone but not forgotten. Bruce and I were shocked to hear that Bev had passed. She was far too young. Our family parties will never be the same without Bev's baking. She always offered to bring something sweet. No one baked better cookie brittle...And what about those fluffy pies we had at Easter...And of course everyone's favourite, flapper pie! George, Jess, Jayson, (and her best bud Ollie), life will never be the same without our beloved Bev, my big sister, but we won't let her be forgotten. I will think of her every single day. Luv and hugs to you all. - Posted by: Deb And Bruce Johnson (sister and brother-in-law) on: Aug 29, 2015

I will never forget the smell of Beverley's fresh bread she made for us after school or how she always made me feel a part of her family. The memories I have of her and you - Jess at the cabin will always be so dear to my heart. I still think of our bike rides to the corner diner at the lake, our Twister movie nights and how the sky out there looked pretty close to that in the movie. Today I heard Michael Jackson's song, "why" while eating at Boston pizza and almost burst into tears, love you my dear old friend. I'm thinking of you and wish you nothing but love to your broken heart. Xoxo - Posted by: Morgan Colameco (Childhood friend) on: Aug 29, 2015
