DOROTHY LILLIAN FAIERS 1922 - 2015 Early in the morning of August 20, 2015, Dorothy Faiers passed away peacefully at Golden West Centennial Lodge at the age of 92. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Edie, the many nieces, nephews, great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Algernon, mother Florence, her siblings: Edward Faiers (Leona), Frances Faiers, Florence Faiers, Art Faiers and Edith Hunt (Frederick). Dorothy was a lifelong member of Broadway First Baptist, singing in the choir and taking part in many events. She worked at Air Canada for 37 years enabling her to travel to various places around the world. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life service at Broadway Frist Baptist Church, 790 Honeyman Avenue, Winnipeg, MB on September 3, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with interment following at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, MB at 2:00 p.m. We wish to thank the staff of the Golden West Centennial Lodge for their exceptional care and compassion, especially those on the 4th floor where Dorothy resided for six years. We would also like to thank the many friends from her church who have kept in touch over the years. Flowers are respectfully declined.
