ANNE DAROWANY (nee MART) Peacefully following a brief illness with cancer, it is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Anne Darowany on her 94th birthday, August 24, 2015 at Misericordia General Hospital. Anne will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Marlene Walker (Bryan), along with four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by her husband Joe on October 8, 1990. In keeping with mom's wishes no formal funeral service was held. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service was held in her memory on August 28 at Brookside Cemetery. A special thank you to the kind, caring staff at Misericordia Hospital 6 Floor Cornish Wing, for their compassionate care. A warm appreciation to Rev. Peter Chorney for his prayers and lovely service. The family also thanks the staff at Klassen Funeral Home on Henderson Highway for their caring guidance through this difficult journey. We celebrate the life of our loved one with these special sentiments: Dance, dance, dance Sing, sing, sing Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice Reunited Basking in the new life, a new beginning, surrounded by all she has loved. Always remembered, always cherished, always treasured. Baba loved and was loved. Until we meet again and share in the joyous lightwe live, we love and we keep you in our hearts. Memories are forever.
