ANNE TENNANT Peacefully, on August 25, 2015 Mom went to be with Dad, her sweetheart, of approximately 59 years. We were blessed to have Mom with us for 94 years. She was a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Family was always the most important thing to her. Anne was born and raised in the Parkland Area. As a young adult she served as a Wren during the Second World War. After the war she met and married George. During the mid 1950's Mom and Dad moved to Anola to raise their family. Mom was a terrific cook and baker. She loved gardening, knitting and reading. For the past year Anne resided in The Convalescent Personal Care Home of Winnipeg. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her sons Gary, Harold (Angie); daughter Geraldine (George); daughter-in-law Linda; grandchildren Ashley, Miles, Carrie (Chris), Mindy (Rene); four great-grandchildren; and her brother Russell (Elsie). The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Staff of the Convalescent Home for the heartfelt care shown to Mom and the Family during this difficult time. In keeping with Anne's wishes, a private graveside service has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Anne's memory to a charity of one's choice.
