Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSABETH JOAN SCALETTA 1938 - 2015 Elsabeth (Betty) passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 after a brief illness at St. Boniface General Hospital. Betty was predeceased by her parents, David and Emily Thomson; her sister Jessie Wrighton, and brothers Russ and Ken Thomson. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Frank Scaletta; son Anthony Scaletta (Gail); nieces Bonnie Wrighton, Wendy Moxon (Wayne) and Patti Knight (Mel); sisters-in-law Josie Dacquisto (Dom) of California, Vivian Grande (Pat), and their families Virginia Grande (Barry Leschinsky), Frank Grande, Tony Dacquisto and Joanne Bolen (Danny). Betty loved travelling, gardening and ice skating. She loved all of her dogs and will be missed by Chi Chi. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Floor 5 East, for the care and compassion shown to our wife and mother. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Betty can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
