Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD WAYNE POPE September 27, 1946 - September 5, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of our loving husband and father, Don Pope in Eriksdale, Manitoba on September 5, 2015. Predeceased by his parents, Clive and Grace Pope, he is survived by wife of 37 years, Marita; sons, Shaun (Sherrie) and Michael (Janine); and daughter Lisa (Jeff). He will also be mourned by brothers, Rob (Cindy), Darryl, Terry, Allan (Jamie), Rick (Margaret); and his sister Brenda (Dave). Don also leaves two grandchildren, Paige and Jordan, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In accordance with his wishes, Don has been cremated and a service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Friday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m. A very special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Eriksdale Hospital and Eriksdale Personal Care Home for their compassion and dedicated work and support to Don and the family. We were both so sorry to hear of Don's passing, Our deepest sympathy to Marita, Lisa, Mike and all of the family. We always enjoyed the time we spent with Don in the Store, he was a big part of our start and he will always hold a special place in our hearts.
