HENRY DYCK May 2, 1937- September 8, 2015 It is with heavy hearts, that the family wishes to announce that on September 8, 2015, their beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Henry, passed away at Concordia Hospital after a severe stroke. Henry was adored by his family and loved by many. His joy of life and sense of humour touched everyone he met. He had the gift of living in the moment. He was a loving and devoted husband to his dear wife Elfriede for fifty six years. They shared many wonderful adventures around the world. Henry had many interests which included golfing, hunting, fishing, watching tennis, and blueberry picking. Henry is survived by his loving wife Elfriede (Frietje); daughters Ingrid (Walter), and Evelyn (Marvin); son Helmut (Katay); grandchildren, Stephanie (Michael), Ryan (Julia), Kristin (Jeffrey), Joshua, Jonathan, and Natalie; and great-grandchildren, Samuel, Thomas, and Madison. He will also be mourned by his sister Helen (John) and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Health Science Center ICU staff. With special thanks to Dr. R. Johnson and all the staff at Concordia N1 South for the exceptional care. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street, Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers donations in Henry's memory may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 5K9.   • Tante Frieda and family We are filled with sadness. Uncle Hein was a joy to know and he always made us feel special. I am so glad that we got to see you both this summer. The memories that we have are many, fishing, camping, visiting and especially the Boxing Day outings we had as we were growing up, going skating or sledding.
