WILLIAM (BILL) DOUGLAS MULLEN May 18, 1967 - September 13, 2015 My Bill finally let go of cancer's powerful grip. He passed surrounded by love and at peace, finally, no more pain. My Bill was an awesome example of dying with grace and dignity. He was predeceased by his dad Douglas Mullen in 2010. He is survived by his mother Margaret Mullen; his wife Johanne Leclaire and her children, Rhéanne Mault (Kelly), Kristian Dupuis (Kristie); his beloved grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kiera, Kaylie and Liham; his sister Cathy Thomsen (Randy); his niece Christie; nephews, Ryan (Stephanie) and Jeff; his precious great-nephews, Evan and Zac; his best four legged buddy "Tucker"; and an extended family too numerous to mention, as well as a wealth of friends that were all precious to him. The family would like to thank all of the dedicated professionals who looked after our Bill, especially the team at Buhler Cancer Center at the Victoria General Hospital, where he was well taken care of by Claudette, Karen, Deleen and Shawna, Eleanor and Dr. Ogaranko, as well as the numerous specialists that fought so hard in the last two plus years to ensure our Bill had quality of life. We'd also like to thank the dedicated staff at Victoria General Hospital 4th floor for their comforting care prior to transferring him to St. Boniface Palliative Care, he felt like he arrived at the "Hilton" and Natasha, Brenda, Neil, Wes and Paul were fantastic in his care, along with the rest of their team. Our sincerest gratitude for all of the love, support and prayers that surrounded our Bill throughout his valiant battle. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Bill's honour to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
