• I remember the day I met Bill like it was yesterday. I was working for Johanne, painting schools. One day Jo let us know that we would be getting some help from the "big boys!". So in strolls Bill dressed in his whites no paint to be seen, a professional! I was in awe watching him glide through the hallways of hastings no ladder just cruising away. That day I knew that I wanted to be as fast and as good as Bill1 In late August as I sat with Bill, we spoke of our first encounter and I told him of my admiration and explained that if not for Jo, we probably would not have met and I would have to thank her. He smiled and said "you know I kissed her that day right?" I didn't know if I should, but I had to! Billiard my friend, you will be greatly missed!
