SHIRLEY ANN VIOLA MILNE (nee FEAKES) On September 16, 2015 after a lengthy hospital stay, Shirley slipped away peacefully at Oakiew Place, Winnipeg, MB at the age of 79. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 57 years, Hugh and six children and their families. Four daughters, Cheryle Brown, Barbara and Garry Pichlyk, Karen and Terry Ammeter, Charlene and Darrell Wintink and two sons, Robert, Kevin and Roberta. She also leaves 12 grandchildren: Wendy and Derek Burgin, Jeremy Brown, Justin Pichlyk (Christine), Jasmin Pichlyk (Matt), Braeden Chaeng. Milne, Nichole and Geoff Louttit, Ryan Ammeter (Krista), Jason Ammeter (Kayla), Jordana and Roger Milne, Darrell and Ashley Wintink, and six great-grandchildren, Kyle, Thalia, Isobel and Aderik, Isabel and Blake Louttit, and Tyson Wintink. Shirley was born June 12, 1936 to Agnes and George Feakes in Plum Coulee, MB. She was predeceased by her mother and father, six brothers and six sisters; as well as her mother-in-law and father-in-law and one son-in-law. She is survived by three brothers and their families, many in-laws as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She also enjoyed bingo and musical instruments. She was a member of the St. James Legion No. 4 where she forged many great friendships over the years. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. The funeral service will take place on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing at 1:30 p.m. and service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow. Our hearts are saddened with the passing of Auntie Shirley. Our thoughts go out to Uncle Hugh and our many cousins. Many fond memories in Starbuck, MB. Auntie Shirley was an excellent seamstress and made the bridesmaid dresses for our wedding.
