Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE TCHIR (formerly PINCHBECK) (nee KOSMAN) March 7, 1920 - September 12, 2015 Peacefully on September 12, 2015 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, our Mom passed away at the age of 95. Mom is survived by her husband John, daughters Karen (Steve), June, grandchildren, Russell, Lisa, Noel (Jenny), Christian (Sonia) and six great-grandchildren Mitchell, Briana, Cole, Tim, Zoey and Amelie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her first husband George, parents, Peter and Rose, and all five of her siblings; niece, Barbara and son-in-law, David. Mom lived her whole life in Winnipeg. She enjoyed travelling and loved spending time with her family. She lived a long and happy life. Mom was a good natured and positive person and always had a smile for everyone. The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff at the Convalescent Home for taking such wonderful care of Mom these past seven years. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, meeting at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
