JUDITH FLAY After a courageous battle with cancer, Judith Junenie Flay passed away at the age of 72 years, surrounded by her family on September 13, 2015. She is survived by her son Michael (Ewa) Flay; daughters, Wendy (Al) Trumbley, Michelle Lewicki, Cheryl (Brian) Gerwing; grandchildren, Jade, Jessie, Kailey, Morgan, Gracie, Cayden, Holly and Brooklynn; and brother Trevor Woodcock of Rivers, MB. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Bruce; parents, Robert Woodcock and Effie Johnson; brother Gerald Woodcock; and son Keith McManus. Judith was born and raised in Minnedosa MB, and lived there for several years before moving to Winnipeg in 1965, to continue her education and begin a career as a bookkeeper. Judith married Bruce in 1969 and spent the next 18 years raising her children, while continuing to do the bookwork for the family electrical business Hi-Lite Electrical Contractors Ltd., before going to work for Army, Navy, and Air Force Unit 283, where she remained until her retirement in 2009. Judith enjoyed volunteering, spending time at the cottage with a good novel in hand, playing bingo, doing crosswords and spending time with her family. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will be held. The family wishes to thank Dr. Pat Harris of CancerCare Manitoba and the staff at Riverview Health Center for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to CancerCare Manitoba. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book, please visit our website. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715
