• You knew her as Dolly a great woman, mother, and friend. However I like to think I knew her a bit differently. She was the woman I couldn't make it a step out of the house without being smothered in kisses whether I wanted them or not. The amazing woman that would pretend she couldn't find me in a game of hide and seek, and trust me I was never hard to find. I would always want to show her all the exciting new things I made or changes to my room and she would always humour me and drag papa along to make it seem like a big deal. Yes I knew her as a mother as I learnt recipes from my own mother passed down, I knew her as a friend, as she taught me the importance of being polite to people and how to build friendships, and boy did she have friends everywhere we went there was someone saying hello.
