DAVID F. ROSS We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our brother, David on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at his residence. David was predeceased by his parent, Murray and Vicky Ross and is survived by his sisters, Bonnie (Randy) Gilreath, Linda (Don) McCroary, and brother Gordon (Cec) Ross. He also leaves his nieces, Jennifer Gilreath (Fred); son Jake and Michelle (Steve) Wiebold; daughter Payton and son Mitchell. David was born on May 14, 1955 and attended St. Alphonsus School, Munroe Jr. High and Miles Macdonell Collegiate. David started his work career as a paper boy and in his teens at A and W Restaurant. After high school, David worked many years in the computer room at Great West Life. Looking for a change, he went back to the food service industry as a manager at Champs. After many years there, he went to Wendy's Restaurant for a long career of more than 30 years as manager and area manager up until his passing. He was very proud of his "Wendy's Family". As his health regressed David worked part time at Wendy's as a training manager. In his earlier years, David loved to fish and was proud of his master angler award. He also loved music and cranking up his stereo. We all now have a large hole in our lives to fill now that he is gone. We know he is in heaven with mom and dad probably playing cards. As per David's wishes, there is no funeral service. There will be a family interment at Elmwood Cemetery, 88 Hespler Ave., Friday, September 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
