WILLIAM (BILL) YOUNG Peacefully, on September 22, 2015, Bill passed after a short illness. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Norine, his sons Greg (Jocelyn), Ken (Donis), Mark (Rhonda), Bruce (Christine), and Brent, daughters, Maureen (Ron), and Shelley (Kelly), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on the 4th floor at the Victoria General Hospital for their exceptional care. Flowers graciously declined, donations can be made in Bill's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. In accordance with Bill's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. We are very sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He was a dear friend of ours as we have known him for so long. He was a very kind and generous man. He introduced Harry to the game of golf and they played many games together enjoying one anothers company. We also spent many evenings playing cards together and playing pool in our basement.
