Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA FRANCES SKWAREK (SZMIGELSKI) After a long fulfilling life, Anna passed away peacefully on September 24, 2015. Born in Trembola, Poland on March 19, 1915 to Augustyn Szmigelski and Maria Zlebita. Anna immigrated to Canada with her family in 1930 and in time, met her soul mate John of 61 years. Anna's faith was woven into the fabric of her life, she was always active and curious, she read a great deal and corresponded with her family in Poland. Along with her talented skills she was an inspiration to all. A consummate hostess, Anna loved to entertain in her home, specializing in her chocolate Cake and her garden was a work of art. Anna was predeceased by her husband, her daughter Lois (Persoage), siblings Josie, Kaspar, Mike, Mabel and Kay. She leaves to morn her; daughter Margie (John); son-in-law Eddy, grandchildren Kelley (Aryan), Michael (Sherry), Lesley (Bob), Shellie (Dennis), Jayne (Tomek), Jaymes (Kim); great-grandchildren Alexandria, Tyson, Tianna, Brenden, Alex, Brianne, Meghan and Austin as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary mention to her friends at Prairie Estates. Special thanks to Red River Place for their compassionate care of Anna. Funeral service will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Teulon, MB with burial at St. William's Cemetery.
