Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCONSTANCE KLOWAK On Thursday, September 24, 2015, Constance Klowak (grandma) passed away peacefully at her home. She was 85 years old. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by her only daughter, Pat Gross and only granddaughter, Melissa Gross; brother, Clayton Matthes (Shirley) and sister-in-law, Ella Matthes and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Adam and Angelina Matthes; sisters, Adeline Kauk, Lydia Pelzer, Viola Cudmore and Eleanor Griffin; brothers, Roy Matthes, Johnny Matthes and Ed Matthes, and Grandpa Michael Klowak. Grandma was born on December 7, 1929 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She worked at Woolco for 30 plus years. She was an active member at church, singing in the church choir. She loved sports and never missed a Blue Jays game. Grandma loved to garden, knit, go camping, and play dice. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 708 McCalman Ave. on Tuesday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
