Mel was predeceased by his wife Angela in 2009 and brother Alec. He is survived by his children and grandchildren. He was born in Polonia, Manitoba in 1932 but spent most of his life in Winnipeg working in the automotive industry. Services for Melvin will take place Tuesday, October 6 at 12:00 noon, Holly Cross RC Parish, 252 Dubuc Street in Winnipeg with Interment at to follow at Stonewall Cemetery.
