  • My deepest condolences to the Shipley family at this most difficult time. I was very sad to hear of Bob's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Bob on many occasions and always loved his approach to making TV...anybody that has also worked alongside him will know what I mean. He had a no-nonsense, let's not take things too seriously but let's get the job done right the first time kinda attitude. We shared many a laugh while creating some pretty unforgettable spots over the years. I will never forget the opportunities he provided me throughout my career and the respect he showed for my work always. He was a truly genuine guy and will most certainly be missed by all. - Posted by: Kim Bell (colleague/friend) on: Oct 09, 2015

  • My sincere condolences to the family. I worked as a video editor for Bob for almost 20 years. He was more than a client to me. We spent half our time working and half our time taking baseball, wood working, family, and solving the world's problems. We had a good working relationship and built a great friendship over the years. When I got the call my wife was in labour, I was in the edit suite with Bob both times.
