Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDA MARY KITTLESON Hilda Kittleson was born on March 16, 1928. Hilda passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg MB, on October 9, 2015, at the age of 87. Hilda was predeceased by: her husband Chester Harold; her parents Frank and Lucy Bergman; and her great-granddaughter Isabelle Hope Kittleson. Hilda is survived by: her children, Carol Naslund (Joe), Harold (Verna), Allen (Jane), Ida-lynne (Gary) Sigurdson; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and her sister Irma Jernberg. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., at the Sprague Community Hall. Interment to follow at Sprague Community Cemetery. I am deeply saddened on the loss of Hilda. I had enjoyed the hospitality of the Kittleson family for years. Hilda was kind, generous of her time and willing to give assistance to all. She was willing to share her knowledge on so many levels. Hilda was an excellent baker, skilled in knitting, crafting and many activities. May you rest in the arms of our Lord. Kristina has known Hilda since school age. Attended church with Hilda at Sprague Baptist Church early age. Vacation Bible School in the summer. Many Thanksgiving meals as a child that we were blessed with at Sprague Baptist. Kristina lived with The Kittleson family for almost an entire school year 1967-68. Hilda would not let me pay Room and Board. The couple/family that lived out Jesus was Hilda and Chester. Their children and grandchildren reflect their values today. We are so blessed for our relationship and our Reunion year 2014 for Thanksgiving in Sprague. Thank you Hilda. I don't know your mother, Carol, but I can empathize how difficult it is to lose a parent. I lost both in one year, my dad in April and my mom in Nov. of 2000.
