gosh. remember one of the biggest Halloween nights at 141 legion with the sounds of Silverado, it was awesome, and correct his golden voice will be welcomed in heaven. it was unique compared with the great Merle Haggard & I will remember each time I play his CD, "For I am the lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand & says to you, Do not fear : I will help you. Isaiah 41:13" - Posted by: Kenneth Ellchuk ( friend of legion 141) on: Oct 17, 2015

Cory, Owen and families. My sincere condolences for your loss. I first met Lloyd when I started working at MacDon in 1997. What started off as a great working relationship soon became a wonderful friendship. This continued until Lloyd retired, but we still contacted from time to time when he stopped by. Best wishes to you all in this difficult time. - Posted by: Don MacGregor (co-worker and friend) on: Oct 16, 2015

Cory and Owen and your families. Life is an amazing thing. All the memories we made. I especially think of the "Shack" and now you will be making your own. I believe that both your mom and dad are totally healed now and enjoying continued singing with each other. Love to all of you. I know it will be tough, but you have each other. Play on. God Bless. Ken and Jane. - Posted by: Ken and Jane Price (Cousin) on: Oct 15, 2015

Regrets that we will be unable attend the service on Friday. I worked with Lloyd at MacDon for 35 years. He was a friendly guy, multi-talented and smart in a hands-on way that I always admired. He introduced me to the guitar and encouraged me to learn to play and sing. My sincere sympathies to Cory, Owen and their families. "Go rest high on that mountain", big guy. - Posted by: Murray Bullen (co-worker and friend) on: Oct 14, 2015
