DOUGLAS EARL HOWE It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Doug on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the age of 64 years. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gwen and their son Geoff (Michelle), his mother Joyce, sister Diane, brother Richard (Debbie), mother-in-law Bernice Pheifer, brothers-in-law Glen, Henly (Arlene), John (Tracy) and Garen, sister-in-law Janice (George), and treasured nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Douglas, sister Marlene, and father-in-law Henry. For Doug, his family and home life were what he cherished most. Through his desire for knowledge, genuineness and grace, Doug enriched our lives. He brought his friendly smile and caring personality to work every day as an x-ray technologist at Health Sciences Centre for more than 30 years. He was highly regarded by his colleagues for his professional expertise. Doug is respected by his many good friends for his diverse interests and talents which he loved to share with others - singing and music were his lifelong passion. So many special memories. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Avenue, Winnipeg. It would be Doug's wish that you sing out heartily and wear cheerful colours. A private family interment will take place at St. Vital Cemetery. Donations may be made in Doug's memory to a charity that is near and dear to you. www.seasonsfunerals.ca
