Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY EDNA PATRICIA KOSTELNIK (nee SUTHERLAND) Mary Edna passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the age of 85. She is survived by sons Robert (Sandra) and James; granddaughters Shannon (RD) and Katherine (Sean); and great grandchildren Emily, Nathaniel, and Gwendolyn. Mary Edna was predeceased by her beloved husband Allan and daughter Ellen. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Tuesday, October 20 at 2:00 p.m. "No one is actually dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away." I knew Allan and Mary Kostelnik for a very short time in my life when my Dad was stationed in Winnipeg. My mother, Edna (Kostelnik) Stitt was going into the hospital for an operation when I was about 8 years old, this would of been in the early 60's. Mary welcomed me into her house during that time.
